This car has a very nice body great fit with only one known repaint. Doors open and close like new. This repaint was done in the 80's still looks good. Has some small little chips here and there. The entire under side has been restored. New stainless calipers, brake hoses and lines, fuel lines, gas tank, all nuts and bolts replaced with stainless, new bushings, steering assist, wheel studs and lugs, booster, master, vac pods etc....427 engine 390 hp sure to be well over 400 hp now rebuilt with only about 2,000 miles since done. I have the orig trans to go with the car but it now has a over drive which is very nice. You can do 80 mph @ around 2,200 rpm. Also have the orig carburator, tack drive distributor and shield, fly wheel and cover, starter, orig luggage rack and many other small orig items that go with it. Everything works on this car. All the trim and bumpers look great, all the glass looks like new. The rear window in the soft top has turned a little yellow, but the top is in good shape. Have the original registration papers and the original warrenty card. Tag on cowl reads Chevrolet FO6, trim 411, 976 Paint. The casting #'s on the back of the block are 39354391 showing it is a 1969 427. The front of the block has a C E stamp for warrenty replacement. Have a big manual to go with it and a thick folder of receipts. Has power steering, power brakes, tilt tele, fiber optics, retactable shoulder belts. Very reliable and fast. Brakes are perfect. The body has a orig 96k on it. Was in the same family since the late 70's. Was bought new in Indiana. March 9, 2008. |
